Welcome to our website! We at Lansing Avenue Baptist Church appreciate so much what Christ has and is doing for us. Our ministry is to present Jesus Christ as man's greatest need. It is only through Christ that mankind receives life everlasting. We attempt to teach the Bible so it is relevant to life situations, but unchanged in its message.

If you are looking for fellowship with other believers, we try to offer that fellowship at every age level. We also encourage believers to use their gifts that God has given them in the ministry of Lansing Avenue Baptist Church. May our Lord direct you in His perfect will. Here at L.A.B.C. we have a passion and desire to see young people come to know Jesus Christ, and watch Jesus do a work in their lives through training and instruction in the Word of God.

We are thrilled that the Lord has kept us in a position of usability for Him. We have many ways in which we attempt to fulfill the great comission (Matthew 28:19-20).

For the preschool age through sixth grade we have an Awana Program, that runs on Monday nights during the school year (Sunday School program on Sundays). For the preschoolers group (Cubbies) two young moms play games, tell Bible stories, do crafts, and much more. For the kindergarten through 2nd grade group (Sparks) we have several committed couples who teach and train them the truths of Scripture, play games, help them memorize verses, and so much more (lie the nature walks). For the 3rd through 6th grade group (Truth and Training) we also have opening time, game time, handbook time, Bible time and once in a while, snack time.

For the 7th through 12th grade we have Word Of Life Club on Wednesdays (and Sunday School on Sundays). Word Of Life Club is a unique mix of gym time, lesson time, snack time, and D.I.A. (Discipleship In Action). Word Of Life has some wonderful events (such as Superbowl - a huge overnight evangelistic outreach), Teens Involved (music, drama, puppet and special entries competition - for which we prepare for throughout the school year), gym nights, and many other activities and service opportunities.

Sunday School is also a vital part of the ministries at L.A.B.C. and we are thrilled with some growth in the youth department of Sunday School (9:45 a.m. on Sundays). We look forward to hearing from you.
